Buckle up to discover the historical city, religious shrines and lives in the narrow alleys of Kathmandu city. Today, we cover three places. First, we visit the Basantapur Durbar Square. It is the anceint palace area in Kathmandu, the legacy of anceint Nepal. The area consists of over 50 historical monuments some dating back to 11th century. Next, stop is at the Swoyambhu Nath Buddhist Stupa popularly known as the monkey temple.This is a unique shrine that lines up both Nepali Hindu and Buddhist devotees in a total harmony. The shrine is a special religious destination for the local indigenous people called Newar. We will arrive the third and last place for today at 1.00 pm. So we first stop for lunch in a terraced restaurent overlooking the Bouddhanath, the next Buddhisdt Shrine. Here, we observe the Tibetian Buddhist in Nepal.
Today we start up with a spiritial tour to Pashupatinath. Lying on the river bank of Holy river Bagamati, It is the biggest pilgrims site of Hindus. Meet ascetic Sadhu Baba, watch the Hindu cremation rituals and feel an incredible aura of spiritual aspect of life. To continue, we drive to Bhaktapur, an anciet city of Nepal. It has preserved and well maintained the world Heritage sites, traditional life style; in short the antique look. Now lets wind up to the Nagarkot Hill station for today's retreat. This places is very popular for panoromic mountain view, sun rises and sets.
This early morning, we leave for a four hours drive to charaudi, a starting point of Rafting at Trishuli River. Carry a light and easy to dry dress. Today we have lunch on the river bank. After around three hours rafting we drive to pokhara; next tthree hours. overnight in Pokhara
Pokhara is a heaven in earth. The Tranquil Fewa Lake at the base of a pristine forest reflects the mighty Mt. Machhapuchre and Annapurna Range. The unique gurung culture, Davi's Fall, Gupeteswor Mahdev in Gupteswor cave, Peace Stupa atop the Few Lake are some of the attraction of Pokhara city. Beside, life at the lake side is the most happening with hundreds of hotels, exclusive markets and restaurents.
After Good morning, we head for Historical Place Lumbini Garden, the birth Place of Siddhartha Gautam Buddha. Lumbini is the international center for Buddhism. About Dozens of different country have built Buddhist Monastry within the garden of Lumbini showing up their presence. visit the Mayadevi Temple, Legendry Ashoka Pillar dated back to 250 B.C.
Time for some thrill. Lets drive to Chitwan for Jungle safari. We stay two nights for the jungle activity that includes Elephant riding, Elephant Bathing, Canoeing, Bird watching, visit to Elephant breeding center, visiting Tharu village, natural museum and enjoying Tharu dance.

Take a scenic 6 hours Drive from Chitwan to Kathmandu. The Drive along the Trishuli River, Penetrating Mahabharat ranges, stopping by high way stops for for tea and lunch is full of excitement. The highway motels are almost always hustling and full of life.
