Nepal World Heritage sites in Kathmandu Valley stand as a testimonial to the ancient Newari civilization flourished in this area. They sample the authentic Newari culture, arts centuries’old pagoda styled temples with marvellous wood and stone carving. The local Newari people have been maintaining this mediaval monuments along with the cultural aspect affiliated to them.
Kathmandu valley is jewelled with three ancient cities- Bhaktapur, Patan and Kathmandu itself. They were different kingdoms till 1768 AD. This medieval period in Kathmandu is known as the Golden period.
Our first part of this Tour offers 10 of those UNESCO enlisted World heritage sites of Nepal along with the natural Himalayan countryside accommodation, three days leisurely plus walking to the top of the valley.
Our second part of the Nepal World Heritage Tours contains the ancient temple and palaces outside Kathmandu valley within the easy access of nearly 200 km drive to west to enjoy the historic countryside palace, pristine Bandipur hill station, Natural paradise Pokhara, Palpa ancient city, Birth place of Gautam Buddha and Chitwan National Park.
Today is your arrival day in Kathmandu.Upon arrival, meet your tour guide. Check in to the hotel followed by Tour Briefing. In the evening is Welcome dinner at the authentic Nepali restaurant with different cultural dances
Visit Monkey Temple – Kathmandu Durbar Square- Pashupatinath. Over night in Kathmandu
Meet your driver early morning to drive to domestic airport for Everest Mountain Flight. Back in hotel after mountain flight have your breakfast. Next is UNESCO Heritage Sightseeing of Boudhanath – Budhanilkantha – and visit hidden monastery Nagi Monastry. It is a nunnery. Experience spiritual ambience around the monastery. Over night in Kathmandu
Visit Patan Durbar Square– Golden Temple—Mahaboudha. Overnight in Bhaktapur
Bhaktapur Durbar Square, Five storied Temple, Dattatraya and pottery square. Overnight in Bhaktapur
We drive up to Changu Narrayan Hillock.Visit Changunarayan(The Oldest Temple of Nepal) This is an ideal point to hike to Nagarkot for the Himalayan Panorama. Overnight in Nagarkot
Dhulikhel is at the elevation of 2000 meters. From here, you can view incredible landscape with snowcape mountain in the backdrop. Overnight at Dhulikhel Himalayan Panorama
We drive to a historic Hill side. Visit four hundred years old Buddhist monastery. This is one of the four major Buddhist shrines. Also visit a Buddhist monastery built near by. Next we continue driving down to Panauti Old City. Over night in Balthali Village Resort
Visit Gorkha Palace and hike around the Villages. Gorkha is the origin of Gurkha soldier. Prithivi Narrayan Shah began unification campaign from this small kingdom. Here you can witness the ancient palace used by then shah king. After sight seeing we drive back to go to Bandipur. It is a small but beautiful Newar settlement also known by “ the queen of Hill” in Nepal. Overnight stay in Bandipur Hill Station
Begin sightseeing in Pokhara. Visit Davi’s Fall, Gupteswor cave and enjoy lake side pokhara. Overnight in Pokhara
Wake up early for life time experience of golden sunrise view from Sarangkot. We drive uphill to the famous Sarangkot. The sunrise view from the point is something that you should not miss. As the sun soars up, the giant Mt. Machhapuchhre, The Annapurna Range, Dhaulagiri and Manasalu blush out. The metamorphosis of the mountain from silver to gold and to Diamond is jaw dropping. After spending good time on the top you may decide to drive back or Paraglide to land down in the back of lake. After breakfast, we hit to Ancient Palpa Town. We visit Tansen palace, Rani Mahal and local community. The next morning don’t forget to catch up the glimpse of white lake. Overnight in Palpa
Lumbini is the birth place of Gautam Buddha. He was born in 566 BC. Today, this area has been developed into centre of World Peace. There is a dozen of monastery built by different nation. Overnight in Lumbini
Today we explore the Lumbini Garden. We visit Maya Devi Garden, Ashoka Pillar, Sacred Pond, reminiscenes of ancient monument, different monastery representing different country. Overnight in Lumbini
Chitwan National Park is famous for one-horned rhinoceros, elephant riding, royal Bengal tiger, leopard, beard, Mars crocodile, alligators, birdwatching etc.
We continue jungle activities that include penetrating jungle on elephant back, canoeing, jeep drive to Kasara crocodile breeding camp, birdwatching, elephant breeding centre, Tharu cultural dance and Elephat bath.
Today after the end of jungle safari, we head back to Kathmandu. It is a six hour’s scenic drive back to Kathmandu valley. In the evening rest hour.
Today is your departure to home. We pick you from hotel to drop at the international airport in kathamdnu. We wish you happy journey and look forward to welcome you again in Nepal for similar Adventerous tours and trekking.
