Day 6 - Depart Lhasa

Day 1 - Arrival in Lhasa, Elevation: 3600 meters :

Upon you arrival in Lhasa, you will be received by your guide at the airport or train station respectedly and he/she will transfer you to your hotel. it is highly recommended every travelers to take some rest upon arrival in Lhasa. after some hours of rest, you can explore the Bakhor street and Tibetan quarter surrouiding your hotel.

Day 2 - Lhasa guided tour :

In the morning you will be visiting the Jokhang Temple, it is the first attraction in all our itineraries as its a holiest temple in Tibet and Himalaya for Buddhist. In this 1400 century old temple you will be greeted by the hundreds of devotees offering to the statue of lord Buddha call jo. In the afternoon you will go to the six century old monastery of Sera. this is one of the three biggest monastery in Lhasa. in the monastery during weekdays you can witness the monks debating on Buddhist philosophy and it is a very good opportunity for travelers to take pictures.

Day 3 - Lhasa guided tour. :

You will begun the day with a visit to Potala Palace. this towering iconic building is the largest functional men made structure in Tibet. build in seventh century and serve as the residence to Tibetan rulers and Winter palace for Dalai Lamas. After lunch, you will go to Drepung, another of Tibet’s huge monastic complexes. The pilgrimage circuit around Drepung takes about an hour or so and offers spectacular views.

Day 4 - Lhasa—Yamdrok Lake—Karo La Glacier—Gyantse—Shigatse Distance: 350kms Elevation: 3980m :

After breakfast, you will hit the road and begin the next part of your Tibet adventure. From Lhasa, you will drive along the scenic Kyi Chu River Valley and then ascend to the top of the 4794 meter Kamba La Pass, which has a breathtaking view of Yamdrok Lake and 7191 meter Mt. Nojin Kangtsang. You will then descend and drive along the lakeshore before making your way back up to the Karo La, a beautiful glacier that comes down almost to the roadside. In the late afternoon, you will arrive in Gyantse. From there, you will travel to Shigatse, Tibet’s second largest city.

Day 5 - Shigatse—Lhasa Distance: 280kms :

You will have a free time in the morning for little self exploration of Shigatse town an your guide will meet you at the noon to he shall take you back to Lhasa on Shigatse-Lhasa train.

Day 6 - Depart Lhasa :

In the morning, you will be transferred to the Lhasa airport or train station and depart Tibet.
