During July-August, on every Wednesday people go to the following four major Buddhist shrines turn by turn. On the first Wednesday, they go to swoyambhu Nath. This is the time that the youngsters manage to choose each other. In the next week, they go to Changu Narrayan in Bhaktapur where they get more acquainted. In the third week, they go to Bajra Barahi. This is a bit farther from the main city. So, there is more time to get familiar with each other. In the fourth week, when they go to Namo Buddha, they take a vow to be loyal to each other. The love that has sprouted in this pilgrims develops and get matured in the following months. They wait till the October when they have the biggest festival Dashain. On the 10th day of this festival, they manage to quietly elope.
