Day 1 - Basantapur and Swoyambhu :

Your Guide will show you the world heritage sites in Basanatapur Durbar Square. Explore the palace area, different hindu temples including the kumara house where you can have glimpse of Living Goddess Kumari. To have a view of Kumari is taken as Mascot. Next,visit the oldest Buddhist temple where both Hindus and Buddhists demonstrate an amazing religious tolerance. The origin of Nepal begins here! Your cultural guide will explain you the history of Swoyambhu Nath, the symbolic meaning of Stupa and Buddhism in Nepal. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 2 - Bhaktapur and Changu :

Visit antique Bhadgaon. Bhaktapur is the smallest and the most ancient city that has still maintained its look. Walk through local alleys that connect four major square which are all enlisted in world heritage site. After a couple of hours’ leisurely walk, have a sumptuous dinner somewhere in the corner of the square. You would love the local flavor in them. After lunch you are ready to drive to Changu Narrayan, the oldest Hindu temple dating back to 2nd century and rebuilt in 5th century by king Mandev. Admire its durability. It has survived half a dozen of great earthquakes. Overnight in Bhaktapur.

Day 3 - Boudha and Sankhu :

Today, we drive to Bouddha Nath stupa located at an outskirt of Kathmandu city. The stupa too is the oldest and biggest of its kind. The area has been popular as a junction of Tibetan refugees in Nepal. So, the Stupa is very special for the Tibetan origin Buddhist. Further we drive to Sankhu, an ancient Newari habitat. To the northern hillock overlooking this city is our destination. Bajrayogini, the Buddhist temple actually lies on the route used by the ancient Tibetan traders. The temple is also illustrated as a testimony of settlement that flourished even before the promulgation of Kathmandu valley. Day 4 - Namabuddha :

Get ready for a longer drive today. Namo Buddah is another Buddhist shrine which in distance of about 1.5 hours’ drive by car. Visit the Stupa and witness its existence since 16th century. Then, get stunned by the phenomenal Buddhist Monastry with impressive prayer halls. Also enjoy walking around a small village.
