The return journey from the take-out point of rafting/kayking on Sun Koshi River - Chatara, in far south east of the country, takes approximately 16 hours to Kathmandu. It is also possible to arrange a flight from Biratnagar (1 hour road journey from Chatara). The flight from Biratnagar to Kathmandu takes around 50min.
